Pexmart lined pipe systems are ideal for corrosive and abrasive products such as acid water, crude oil, slurry, wet gas, raffinate and effluent. HDPE liner provides old or new steel pipes with greater strength and protection from erosion and corrosion by closing off the steel pipe inside walls from the flow.

Pexmart lined pipe systems has refined the process of lining steel pipelines with high density polyethylene liners to the extent that any diameter of pipe can be lined in the workshop or on site.
In all these application instances the HDPE liner provides the new or old steel pipe with greater strength and protection from erosion and corrosion by closing off the steel pipe internal walls from the flow. The smooth interior of the HDPE liner also reduces resistance and friction, resulting in superior fluid flow.
Pexmart lined pipe systems is SABS approved and has successfully passed all ASTM F1545 requirements. All our HDPE lined fittings are pressure tested at 1.5 times our customer’s service pressure, ensuring world-class performance.

The thermal butt fusion method is critical to the continuous lining process. It is an economical and fast way to deliver a complete, leak-proof HDPE pipe system, with joints as strong as the pipe itself. Our technicians use high-tech welding machines (Widos and Rothenberger) to maximize efficiency and safety.
This system provides a continuous HDPE liner that protects carbon steel pipelines from corrosive elements while reducing friction and operating pressures. Custom extruded to exact dimensions, the liner is installed using a specialized folding machine and winch system, then expanded with compressed air to ensure a tight seal.
Before service, pipelines undergo rigorous pre-commissioning steps such as cleaning, torque inspections, CCTV inspections, and pressure testing. Pexmart’s expertise ensures that every pipeline meets required standards.
